Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Trading Decision Making -Supporting Merchandise Manager to ensures all China KPI’s are achieved through maximizing sales and profit whilst minimizing markdown, managing UPL’s (units per linear) and ensuring agreed terminal stock levels are met in order to exceed planned profit. -Follow up critical path from order signing to in store to ensure the product is in store when planned, feedback to Merchandise Manager for any potential risk. -Supporting Merchandise Manager and offering recommendation for acting markdowns and promotions in market in line with budgeted markdown spend and NL Group framework. Reviewing the performance of markdown and promotions and advising to help reduce terminal stocks but maximize the profit. -Support Merchandise Manager in the management of the WSSI, sales stock and OTB forecasting. Review and manage line monitors, feeding back solutions to any over/under stock issues, to ensure smooth running on continuity lines. -Review performance by profit block/key styles/theme weekly. Make trading suggestions ensuring you are maximizing sales and profit. -Monitor stock commitment and intake phasing in weekly meetings, advice your Merchandiser of any actions taken. Review actual planned stock levels, taking appropriate action to ensure targets are kept. -Product Order relevant operations in China system. -Supporting the price checking and relevant adjustment. Planning -Support Merchandise Manager to integrate historical lessons into the planning process alongside identifying market and key fashion trends to maintain a detailed understanding of the China market. -Regularly carries out store, competitor and market visits and feedbacks to Merchandise Manager. -Reviews depth and width to optimize availability and minimiz
