Merchandiser Job Description European retailer is looking for a merchandiser focused on export business. The candidate will be located in Shanghai in the sourcing office and will report directly to the business development manager of lingerie dept. His main responsibility is as follows, support and coordinate the workflow and priorities settled by the business development manager/category manager. Responsibilities include: Supporting BDM/category manager to source the new suppliers and products Developing the new collection in the regarding of quotation, sampling, to submit the most suitable items and competitive to buyer/designer Watching closely the order process from order placement, sampling, inspection until finishing the shipment. Well preparing the buying meeting 2 seasons per year Skills Experience Required Experience/skills: Related 3-5 years working experience in trading company or buying office, preferrable in European company Preferable to know the lingerie, swimwear and homewear products, rich fabric knowledge Graduating from university in the major of textile. Strong communication with overseas buyers/designers and also with other dept. like shipping, QA, smart controlling of vendors Could work independently and provide efficient solutions. Fluent in English (oral written) Mastering Reporting tools (Excel, Word, PP, etc..)
