Responsibilities
• Supervise a team of Merchandisers to enhance efficiency and build up relationships with customers.
• Be responsible for exploring sales opportunities and expanding business.
• Liaise with customers; Confirm the bulk fabric status, eg. date with Product Development(PD) team and suppliers.
• Assist in sales and marketing programs and activities.
• Work very closely with Merchandising Team on orders follow-up, product quality and delivery arrangement related issues.
• Coordinate with factory to fine-tune the balance between requirements of client and actual information of related factory.
• Liaise with the PD Team to assure the delivery of the new season collection is on time.
• Conduct sales forecast, planning and handle all analysis reports.
• Able to understand, analyze and response to the Profit & Loss of business.
• Holding pre-production meeting with factory.
• Handle and follow up quality issues.
• Arrange customer visits.
• Handle customer complaints or claim.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
• Textile Industry/Polytechnic graduate preferred;
• 10 years or above sales and merchandising experience in woven products;
• Strong in organization, leadership and negotiation skills;
• Proactive and market-oriented;
• Good experience in training and managing team;
• Good business sense, customer service and presentation skills;
• Eager to learn, self-driven and independent;
• Familiar with US/EU market.
